The residence hall I was assigned to is located at Stanford street, which is right in the Waterloo campus, as well as Southbank. This residence is, perhaps the most convenient one, as it is only minutes away from one of the most major train stations in London, Waterloo station.
Looking back at my first couple of weeks at King’s was quite a refreshing experience. Coming from sunny Southern California, I was ready for the change of weather and people. My first impression of King’s is the friendliness of the study abroad advisors, this was set a tone of ease in my early few days in London.

Studying abroad at King’s College London is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. When researching places that I wanted to study abroad, I had a list of criteria to keep in mind, and King’s checked all of those boxes. I wanted to be in a big city that I could endlessly explore, and King’s location in central London gave me incredible access to amazing landmarks, neighborhoods, and experiences. I loved being in the heart of the one of the greatest cities in the world, and I loved the way that King’s interacted with the city around it.
