First, don’t forget to book your accommodation! You can book on the website of King’s Residences. There are a lot of options you can choose, but the allocation of the accommodation is random, if you have any requirements (such as, near the campus, traffic, etc.), you should mail the residence team or Facebook or Twitter them.
You may worry about the massive of documents you should bring for Tier 4 visa. Well, I had the similar experience, but in the end, it’s not really a problem. You should know in advance that the period of visa application, in general, is 30 days, but there are some services provided to accelerate the process of the visa application. For detailed information, you can check the Gov.uk website
After visa application, you should book your flight. Generally, you should check the price of flight as early as possible, so that you can get a very cheap ticket in a comfortable time. skyscanner and Google Flights are highly recommended.
London is one of the most expensive city in the world in many people’s mind. Honestly, I have to say it is true. However, London life is cheaper than you think. Here is the list I think you should bring as necessary.
After preparation before leaving, you can do some preparation for arriving. There are several useful links and apps highly recommended to you one of which is the King’s Welcome – It is a very important app. You can get the map of each campus, and you can get the details of the events held on different campuses. By the way, you can have your checklist in this app, which is most important for the welcome week. So, you won’t worry about missing some registrations anymore if you have this app.
