Welcome

This site supports inclusive, active learning at King’s. Before you turn to the activities themselves, we refer you to the ‘What is active learning?‘ and ‘How to select activities‘ pages. These preliminary readings make the case for selecting and sequencing activities in ways which advance your overall curriculum purposes. When you find an activity you would like to try, refer to our evaluation guides which you can find in the ‘How is it working?’ menu.

King’s Academy is working with colleagues across King’s to expand this collection. We’ll be thinking about digital activities for fully-online students and for large groups with fixed seating. We’ll also develop further active learning and evaluation guides. Meanwhile we invite King’s colleagues to continue to refer to our existing compendium of active learning designs.

We would love to hear from you about this site, and we welcome contributions – so please do get in touch with kings-academy@kcl.ac.uk.
