The National Law University Delhi is extending an invitation to King’s College London to participate in the 9th edition of the HSF – NLU Delhi International Negotiation Competition (INC), organised jointly by Herbert Smith Freehills LLP and National Law University Delhi, to be held in New Delhi, India on 30 August – 1 September 2024.
The INC is an invitation-only competition, which simulates complex real-life legal issues and negotiations. The competition aims to provide an unparalleled opportunity for the convergence of competitive and multi-cultural interaction. Through the past eight editions, the competition has witnessed the participation of over 65 universities from across the globe. The 9th HSF – NLU Delhi INC will further the National Law University Delhi’s collective vision of providing a platform for law students to practice and improve their negotiation skills in a diverse and international environment, in which they aim to have a greater number of universities, from India and across the globe. Please note that participation is invited from a team of 2 students, both enrolled in a full-time law degree course as of 30 August 2024.
At this stage, the university is looking to gauge if King’s students would be interested in participating in the competition. Please note the following tentative timeline for this year’s competition:

- May 2024: Deadline for provisional registration.
- Middle of June 2024: Deadline for confirmation of team composition.
- Middle of June 2024: Release of the problem/negotiation simulations.
- End of June 2024: Deadline for seeking clarifications.
- End of July 2024: Submission of the negotiation plans.
- 30 August – 1 September 2024: HSF – NLU Delhi INC 2024.
