Getting a part-time job during your studies or in your summer break can be a great way to develop the skills you’ll need in the working world. At King’s Careers & Employability we can help you throughout the process of finding a part-time job and we thought it might be helpful to do a quick round-up of how you can get a job at King’s College London.

King’s Talent Bank

Sign up with King’s Talent Bank, the on-campus job agency for temporary work at King’s College London, to find a range of different job opportunities. Using King’s Talent Bank is easy once you start applying for jobs – once you have registered your information and uploaded your CV, all you have to is find available jobs on the portal and write a cover letter to apply for the role. You can register on the site while still studying or once you’ve graduated.

If you have any questions about King’s Talent Bank, you can find their contact information on their website or visit them when they are on King’s campuses: 10am-12pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Strand campus (Bush House SE Wing – Level 5) or 10am-12pm on Thursdays at Guy’s campus (Henriette Raphael Building – Mezzanine).

Browse internal or external job vacancies on the King’s website or give @KingsJobs a follow on Twitter for updates on available roles. Please note that some of these roles are full time and therefore will not be available for current students.

Student Ambassador Programme

As a student ambassador, you’ll share your best uni experiences with prospective students, overseas visitors and school leavers. You’ll receive training, support and payment for all work undertaken for King’s, whether you’re giving campus tours, mentoring young students, or giving presentations in schools or colleges. Applications for the programme are currently closed, but you can read all about the scheme on the King’s website and apply when applications for 2019 open.

KCLSU

Find part-time roles in the King’s College London Student Union (KCLSU) on their website or sign up for their Student Jobs and Careers mailing list. Most roles will be advertised during the summer.
