RBS Entrepreneurial Challenge
Deloitte Capture the Flag

RBS Entrepreneurial Challenge

RBS are running an entrepreneurial challenge across universities in London & Edinburgh to see which team can raise the most money for the Prince’s Trust charity in 24 hours. Winning teams from each location will win a two day insight experience into RBS/NatWest Corporate Private Banking.

What: Competing teams will have 4 weeks to plan how they will raise as much money as possible on the day of the 28th of November. Be it a sponsored climb of Ben Nevis or a university-wide bake-sale, your team has the freedom to plan and execute what they think will be the best fundraising initiative. Competition rules and guidelines will be clarified during a welcome call.

Why: To raise money for The Prince’s Trust – The UK’s leading youth charity, who help vulnerable young people get their lives back on track.

Who can apply:  Any students motivated to raise money for a great cause and who want to be in with a chance of winning an insight opportunity in the most competitive area of the bank. Teams must have between three and five members.

Fundraising day: 28/11/18

Deloitte Capture the Flag

For the fourth successive year, Deloitte are running their annual Cyber ‘Capture the Flag’ competition for a selection of targeted universities across the UK.

The competition is a fantastic opportunity for students to develop and demonstrate their technical and advisory cyber-skills. It tests students’ penetration testing, forensics, malware and intrusion analysis skills in a fun and competitive environment. In addition, this year teams will need to develop an approach to recovering a business after a cyber-attack.

The competition is split into two phases: initial qualifying on 31st October will be hosted remotely, following which the top-scoring universities will be invited to compete in the all-day final held at the Deloitte offices in Central London on 23rd November.

For all finalists, prize money is on offer alongside the chance to be fast tracked for positions within their Market Leading Cyber Practice.
