Fintech Masters funding opportunity

Funding postgraduate study is hard, especially in the Capital. With student fees ever-increasing, and the cost of accommodation rising exponentially, a master’s degree can appear a daunting endeavour.

However, Spotcap – a global fintech start-up established in 2014 – is offering an £8k fellowship to one UK-based master’s or MBA student, studying a fintech-related subject; whether that be in business, finance, management, engineering or computer science.

Applicants must have a) an offer of admission to a master’s or MBA programme at an accredited British university; b) be a British citizen or resident; c) be studying a fintech-related subject, with the intention of seeking employment in the industry upon graduation. Please note, applicants must further demonstrate an ability to cover the additional costs associated with their degree.

Those seeking to apply should upload a CV and cover letter to Spotcap’s Fellowship webpage by 15th August 2019. Included within the cover letter should be i) a brief description of your background and achievements; ii) what sparked your interest in the sector; iii) how your studies would support a career within fintech.
