On 5th December 2018, we celebrated the third iteration of the King’s Research and Internships Awards. Anyone who’d completed a King’s Internship was invited to submit an entry into one of the 6 available categories – Reflections Competition – Written Submission, Reflections Competition – Video Submission, King’s Internships: Photo Competition, King’s Internships: 10 Second Competition, King’s Internships: Intern of the Year Award.
You can see our winners’ entries here, as well as the entries from the runners-up and other shortlisted candidates. It was a great night, and fantastic to see so many of you turn out to hear about how doing an internship had benefited you on both a personal and a professional level. You can see photos from the night along with a video recording, featuring speeches from an academic, KURF student, King’s alum and the King’s Intern of the Year.
Feeling inspired and want to read even more?
Then we’d recommend you cast your eyes over the King’s Internships Case Study Glossary on KEATS. It’s a great way of finding out more about internships and the experiences of King’s students who have completed them. You can search by King’s Internships Programme, academic discipline or industry sector – there’s a mix of written and video extracts, and there are LOADS!
