#MyNextSteps Careers Workshops for Spring 2022

The #MyNextSteps Careers Workshops for Spring have now been launched and are available to current students and recent graduates. They are around 50 minutes long and are either online or on campus. If you are struggling or worried about your future career or employability development, we have resources to help you take your next step. It can be difficult figuring out how to navigate through your career search but don’t worry, you are not alone. It doesn’t matter whether you are in the discover, focus or action phase as the workshops cover them all. You don’t have to attend all of the sessions, simply read up on the ones that interest you the most and get yourself booked in. Below are examples of some of the ideas that will be covered:

  • identifying your employability assets
  • exploring ways to search for career opportunities
  • looking at the value of having a personal brand and keeping an eye on your digital footprint
  • examining different types of interview questions and how to structure an answer
  • identifying ways to demonstrate resilience and self compassion when searching for work experience

More information about the workshop timetable and content covered can be found on the #MyNextSteps KEATS page where you can then book through KCC.
