It’s a short blog post from us today to let you know that the latest in our My First Steps series is taking a slightly different form, in that it’s hosted on our website and features not one but nine (that’s right, NINE) case studies from researchers who have recently finished at King’s. From right across the spectrum of departments at King’s, these graduates tell the story of what they’re up to now, how they came to be in that position, how it ties in with their research and the skills they picked up, and where they hope to go from here. The nine graduates are currently in a mix of academic and non-academic positions, including:
- Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Oxford
- Data Scientist at the London Borough of Newham
- Co-founder of Teamflow
- Business Manager at the Francis Crick Institute
- Lecturer at Brunel University
- Senior Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline
- Research Officer at the Early Intervention Foundation
- Software Engineer at ThoughtWorks
- Lecturer in Journalism at the University of Roehampton
You can find all these case studies, along with more useful information to help with your career planning on our support for Researchers page.
