If you’re interested in a career in fintech you’ve probably seen that the sector is full of potential and dynamic and fast-growing technology companies dedicated to creating collaborative and enthusiastic environments. Fintech is an exciting career opportunity many have not considered despite its recent boom. The sector currently employs 76,500 people. This is projected to grow to more than 100,000 by 2030. 42 per cent of fintech workers drawn from outside the UK. The sector is highly exposed to changes in the immigration settlement post-Brexit.
The Fellowship is a £8k award that supports one aspiring masters or MBA student per year.
…so what are the Fellowship Award details and what’s in it for me?

…and some final detail about eligibility
The fellowship award offers admissions to a master’s or MBA programme at an accredited British university, starting in autumn 2018. To be eligible, you must be a British citizen or resident. Regarding educational background, it is advised to have achieved or expected to achieve a 2.1 or above in undergraduate degree. Lastly, the applicant should be studying a fintech-related subject, with an intention to work in fintech upon graduation.
…this sounds great – so how do I apply?
To send in your application, include your CV with work experience, education and extracurricular activities. Write a one-page cover letter profiling academic interests, achievements and career aspirations. Include a “Mini-essay” in written or video format answering the question “What sparked your interest in fintech?” (500 words/3 mins max). Last but not least – references! If you are shortlisted, you will be required to provide two references.
