Opportunity Highlight: Java Developer Scholarship with mthree

Our Enquiries Officer Toslima Khatun talks about an exciting virtual work experience opportunity currently recruiting for a Java Developers scholarship programme.

In a previous blog post, we spoke about the rise of paid opportunities to enhance your careers remotely amid the lockdown. The rise of virtual working environments is one large component of allowing everyone to do this. On KCL Careers Connect you can book appointments to help you apply for said schemes and opportunities.

One employer who is currently offering virtual summer experience opportunity for KCL students is mthree, a company in the field of IT & technology and telecommunications.

They are looking for students with a background in STEM and/or Computer Science for a paid 12-week programme under the Aspire Scholarship, designed to turn you into a trained ‘Full-Stack Java Developer’. Their full description provided by the company ‘mthree’ itself is below:

‘At mthree, we know exactly what students are up against with the stagnant job market. Things may seem even more daunting now with the COVID-19 lockdown impacting us all. During these times, on-line instruction has become a guiding light for students and future graduates looking to succeed in an uncertain world. Which is why we have designed a solution to help graduates, such as yourself, secure a profitable career as soon as the coronavirus quarantine lifts.

We are proud to introduce the mthree Aspire Scholarship, a 12-week online training boot camp that will equip you with the skills needed to become a Full-Stack Java Developer. The course will be delivered entirely online through interactive webinars with our expert instructors, as well as individual study and group projects with other trainees. After training, we will work to place graduates in a full-time career with one of our prestigious clients.

We are searching for graduates with coding experience. This opportunity is ideal for students and graduates who have studied in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Physics.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, I encourage you to send a copy of your most recent CV to lexi.cameron@mthree.com and a member of our Talent Team will be in touch to discuss further.’
