Black Women into Tech and Data is looking for another cohort of 50 Black Heritage university students to join this exclusive programme for this academic year. This programme is run by leading STEM charity Generating Genius and top multinational Technology and Data companies.
This programme will provide you with both the soft skills and technical skills needed for a career in Technology. The programme includes workshops, 12 week or 5 month one to one mentoring, summer internships and insight weeks. Activities during term time are all virtual apart from the meet and greet event so manageable with your studies. Previous students have attained internship and graduate roles at Man Group, Google, Microsoft, National Grid, Amazon, Morgan Stanley and Circana.
Eligibility Criteria
- Black Heritage Female student
- Graduating in 2024,2025,2026, 2027 (those who have graduated in 2023 are also accepted)
- Studying at Undergraduate or integrated master’s in computer science, Engineering (all engineering degrees), Physics, or Maths
- We do accept students from other subjects who have done a short coding course or courses previously or who are self-taught coders.
