Welcome to King’s School of Education, Communication and Society Research blog, which documents the latest research being undertaken by ECS researchers.
ECS is an interdisciplinary and dynamic school that undertakes leading-edge research and has been at the forefront of teacher education and education research for over forty years. Today we are renowned for our teaching and research expertise in science and mathematics education; language, culture and communication; and public policy. We have a proud history of contributing to public policy debates and the concerns of professional communities of practice across multiple sectors, both nationally and internationally, and provide programmes of study that help professionals critically analyse, research and effectively respond to changes in thinking and policy in their fields.
