We are leading research on the internal political and economic dynamics of Brazil – a global economic power. We have been pioneering the study of Brazilian culture and history as a concentrated subject area since our founding in 2008.
We aim to foster teaching and learning on and with Brazil and offer supervision for MPhil/PhD research courses relating to Brazil. We also utilise our academic expertise to support a range of disciplinary departments across King’s.
We coordinate and develop Brazil-related research capabilities and Brazil-focused programmes of study, while also building links with Brazilian organisations in education, the cultural and creative sectors, business and government.
Our defining characteristic is our blend of internationalism and interdisciplinarity.
