Turns out, there is still lots of good stuff happening \u2013 we just aren\u2019t hearing about it. I would like to share with you my favourites from the last month, I hope you enjoy!<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Stumpy the Labrador<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Meet Stumpy, named after his little legs which were too short for him to pursue a career as a Guide dog.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2394 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/resilife\/files\/2020\/10\/Stumpy-the-Labrador.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"247\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Luckily, Stumpy found another way to help and became a Pet Blood Doner. He is now the Pet Blood Bank\u2019s highest donating dog, having donated blood 30 times so far, and saving OVER 120 dog\u2019s lives. Now that is one seriously good doggo, don&#8217;t you think?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Global pandemic? Don\u2019t know her.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/resilife\/files\/2020\/10\/Bea-Joy-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2391\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/resilife\/files\/2020\/10\/Bea-Joy-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/resilife\/files\/2020\/10\/Bea-Joy-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2390\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/resilife\/files\/2020\/10\/Bea-Joy-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"159\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a>Bea Lumpkin aged 102 (left) and Joy Young aged 96 (right), would not let anything get in the way of them voting in this election. Having not missed a single vote since 1940 when she was first allowed to, Bea turned up in full PPE to post her ballot last week. Joy showed similar determination, being blind AND deaf, she rocked her mask and made it to her 78<sup>th<\/sup> vote.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>12-year-olds these days&#8230;<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/resilife\/files\/2020\/10\/Caleb.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2392 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/resilife\/files\/2020\/10\/Caleb.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"258\" height=\"192\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0At the ripe old age of 12 years, Caleb Anderson is achieving big things, as he is the youngest student to begin studying Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech. When he was 3 years old, he gained acceptance to MENSA (the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world).
