Dr Ruth Ruggles

Dr Ruth Ruggles is a Consultant in Public Health in the Health Protection Medical Directorate in Public Health England. Before training in public health, she worked as a general practitioner in South London for seven years. Ruth has developed and taught on a number of courses in both communicable disease and non-infectious environmental hazards for a range of audiences including clinicians and scientists, medical and postgraduate students, local government professionals, health protection administration and others. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
