Dr Mark Pennington
Mark Pennington is a senior lecturer in health economics and a member of King’s Health Economics at King’s College London. He originally trained as a medicinal chemist and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for eleven years prior to retraining as a health economist. His work focuses on economic evaluation and modelling and he has an interest in the extrapolation of event data for economic modelling and the analysis of large observational datasets. He also leads the economic analysis for King’s Technology Evaluation Centre (KiTEC) which undertakes medical technology assessments for the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
