He has a PhD&nbsp;Film Studies (University of Warwick), MA Film and Television Studies (University of Warwick), and BA Film Studies and French (University of Kent). He was previously a Lecturer in Film at the University of Reading.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>Dr Brown&#8217;s work is invested in combining methodologies derived from film historiography, film theory and the practice of close analysis in innovative ways.
