I would say that <strong>life at King\u2019s as a computer science student is entirely what you make out of it<\/strong>. This is how a second-year computer science student may go about their day:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-2165 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/nms\/files\/2022\/02\/diego-ph-vTitvl4O2kE-unsplash-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>Rise and shine:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I wake up around 7:30 to start and prepare for my day.<\/strong>\u00a0 I take a shower and prepare my bag for university, careful not to forget any chargers. This is followed by listening to some music whilst waiting for my bus to campus.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_559\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-559\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-559\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/nms\/files\/2020\/01\/largeprvw_0_316107-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-559\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">King&#8217;s Building<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Le<\/strong><strong>ctures and tutorials:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I go to a mix of lectures and tutorials. Lectures are used to communicate concepts and ideas; and then the tutorials are where I am able to ask my professors all my questions about the content. I find the tutorials very insightful and always look forward to them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2137\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2137\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2137 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/nms\/files\/2022\/02\/bush_house_from_coutyyard-2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Bush House\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2137\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Bush House<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Self-study: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After finishing the lectures and tutorials for the day, I either study with friends or am found to be in a team meeting for the current project that I have for one of the modules. University teaches you how to manage your time and organise your self-study periods.
