At King\u2019s,&nbsp;we\u2019re&nbsp;fortunate to have a&nbsp;Housing&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Money&nbsp;Advice Service (and the Money Mentors!) who are here to show you where you can access support during and after your time at King\u2019s.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>King\u2019s&nbsp;Housing&nbsp;and&nbsp;Money&nbsp;Advice Service:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While at King\u2019s, you can arrange to speak to one of the specialist advisers at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcl.ac.uk\/student-life\/money-housing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Housing &amp; Money&nbsp;Advice Service<\/a>&nbsp;if you have queries or concerns about money management, accommodation &#8211; especially if it\u2019s urgent (for example, you\u2019re worried you\u2019ve been the victim of a scam).&nbsp;They\u2019re&nbsp;here to provide advice if you fall under financial hardship.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before getting in contact, check whether your questions have&nbsp;already&nbsp;been answered anywhere on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/self-service.kcl.ac.uk\/category\/?id=CAT-01000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Student Services Fees, Funding and money advice page<\/a>. If not, then you can arrange a consultation with an Adviser through this&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=FM9wg_MWFky4PHJAcWVDViXHM4Q5ZRpPkHu4rv19m7JUNTVZRDdRTk1BS0tDSDRZN0UwUFpUSElUUCQlQCN0PWcu&amp;route=shorturl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Registration Form<\/a>.&nbsp;Alternatively,&nbsp;they offer telephone appointments or drop-in sessions; you can find out more&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcl.ac.uk\/student-life\/money-housing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">on their page<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Funding Opportunities&nbsp;by&nbsp;KCL:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">King\u2019s College London&nbsp;offers various scholarships and bursaries for students needing extra financial support.&nbsp;Here are some of the main ones:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcl.ac.uk\/study-legacy\/funding\/kings-hardship-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">King&#8217;s Hardship Fund<\/a>&nbsp;<br>This bursary is open to all home-fee students \u2013 undergraduate, postgraduate, and those on an NHS-funded year. If you experience a sudden hardship or change in financial circumstances, you can apply for this fund to help with your daily living expenses. The amount you receive depends on the severity of your&nbsp;situation but&nbsp;can be up to \u00a33,500.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcl.ac.uk\/study-legacy\/funding\/kings-living-bursary-2025-26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">King&#8217;s Living Bursary<\/a>&nbsp;<br>This bursary, intended for alleviating day-to-day&nbsp;expenses&nbsp;for home students with a&nbsp;household income of&nbsp;\u00a342,875&nbsp;or less.&nbsp;The amount you receive will depend on your household income, and this information can be found in the link above.&nbsp;You&nbsp;don\u2019t&nbsp;need to apply for this bursary&nbsp;\u2013 if&nbsp;you\u2019re&nbsp;eligible, the King\u2019s College Funding team will have already contacted you about it near the start of the academic year.&nbsp;Although, if&nbsp;you\u2019re&nbsp;eligible for the Living Bursary but the Funding Team&nbsp;haven\u2019t&nbsp;yet reached out to you,&nbsp;it\u2019s&nbsp;worth checking in with them&nbsp;\u2013 you can find their page&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcl.ac.uk\/study\/undergraduate\/fees-and-funding\/contact-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcl.ac.uk\/study-legacy\/funding\/kings-student-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">King&#8217;s Student Fund<\/a>&nbsp;<br>If&nbsp;you\u2019re&nbsp;receiving the King\u2019s Living Bursary but go through&nbsp;an unforeseen change in financial&nbsp;circumstance, you might be eligible for this bursary to further aid your rent, bills, or travel costs.&nbsp;Like the Hardship Fund, the amount is judged on a case-by-case basis but&nbsp;can be&nbsp;up to \u00a33,500.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcl.ac.uk\/study-legacy\/funding\/international-hardship-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Hardship Fund<\/a>&nbsp;<br>This bursary is open to international students who have experienced&nbsp;a&nbsp;sudden unforeseen financial hardship.&nbsp;The&nbsp;maximum&nbsp;amount for this fund is \u00a36,000, but like the others, it depends on the severity of your situation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Other potential source of funding<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are just a few of the opportunities available&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;have a look at&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcl.ac.uk\/study-legacy\/funding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">King&#8217;s Funding Opportunities page<\/a>&nbsp;for the full list of&nbsp;bursaries, scholarships, studentships,&nbsp;and their eligibility requirements.&nbsp;There are also some useful articles listed here:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcl.ac.uk\/study\/undergraduate\/fees-and-funding\/student-funding\/hardship-funds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hardship Funds<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/self-service.kcl.ac.uk\/article\/KA-01793\/en-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">What loans, grants or scholarships can I get from King&#8217;s?<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/self-service.kcl.ac.uk\/article\/KA-01197\/en-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I&#8217;m having money difficulties, where can I find support?<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/self-service.kcl.ac.uk\/article\/KA-01179\/en-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">What are the fees and funding options available for undergraduate study?<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/self-service.kcl.ac.uk\/article\/KA-01819\/en-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I&#8217;m an&nbsp;International&nbsp;student, what financial support can I access?<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>External&nbsp;funding:\u202f<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond the&nbsp;financial&nbsp;support at King\u2019s, there are external funding opportunities available&nbsp;too.
