The Politics, Philosophy & Law degree at King’s College London is unique in the UK and seeks to provide students with a deep understanding of how the disciplines intersect. Diversity of thought and expression is therefore a key founding principle of the King’s Student Journal for Politics, Philosophy and Law (KSJPPL), which aims to provide a platform for all students to share in this discourse and expand academically in a relaxed and rewarding setting. The Journal aims to give students from all disciplines and established academics alike the opportunity to analyse contemporary issues through the lens of the three disciplines. Our first edition covers a range of topics from the refugee crisis, to international terrorism and Brexit. These topics and their impact are often close to home to the students who write them.
