So, now you’ve got your offers, what’s next? Why not come along to one of our offer holder days this spring and find out why King’s is the dental school for you!
At the offer holder days you can get a taste of what it’s like to be one of our dental students, and see for yourself what makes King’s unique. We will be running talks for both you and your family, and you’ll have the opportunity to explore the campus and clinical floors through our group tours. Current students from across the years, as well as academic staff, will be on hand to answer your questions and speak to you about the King’s experience and general dental student life. Follow the links in the side bar to your right to secure your place.
For those of you who are thinking of applying to King’s in the next cycle this autumn, why not come along to one of our summer open days. At Guy’s campus we run two open days, which this year are taking place on Saturday 9th June and Saturday 7th July. Booking is now open, register here for your tickets. During these events we open our bustling campus to visitors, and show the amazing facilities King’s has to offer. Campus, accommodation and clinical tours run throughout the day, with admission tutors and students on hand to talk you through the course and help your application shine, with discussions on personal statements and the application process. If you’re not sure if dentistry is for you, or you are looking for a fifth choice for your UCAS form, these open days give you the opportunity to visit other departments including bioscience, psychology and biomedical engineering. You are welcome to bring your friends and family along on these open days so the people who know you best can help your decision. Remember to book your free tickets early before they’re gone!
We understand that for some people it can be hard to visit us on our open days, especially if you live far away or in another country. That’s why King’s runs virtual open days throughout the year. Students ambassadors, academic staff and student services, including accommodation and funding, are online every few months waiting to answer your questions. They can offer you advice on a whole range of things from what to study, where to live and how to fund your degree. Visit our website to see when our next live chat is running and get your questions ready. Alternatively, visit your subject’s faculty page on the King’s website and send your queries to the Admissions team who will be happy to help.
All the best in your research and application, we look forward to welcoming you to the Dental Institute soon!
