2rem), (max-width: 53rem) calc(8 * (100vw \/ 12)), (min-width: 53rem) calc(6 * (100vw \/ 12)), 100vw\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>These photographs are part of recent accessions to the\u00a0Liddell Hart Centre for Military Archives, and were taken by Lt Col Dr Keith\u00a0Glennie-Smith and Lt Col Anthony Younger, whilst in service during the Korean\u00a0War. The collections include a number of colour slides from which these\u00a0photographs have been taken from, and subsequently published in a catalogue, \u2018And\u00a0Life Goes On 1953\u2019, to accompany an exhibition at the Seoul National University\u00a0Museum in 2007.<\/p>\n<p>Both clearly have a keen eye for photography, and have managed\u00a0to capture an array of snapshots providing a unique insight into the daily\u00a0lives of Koreans during the War by documenting local rural life, markets and\u00a0landscapes, as well as of British military personnel and soldiers of the Chinese\u00a0People\u2019s Liberation Army.<\/p>\n<p>These are just a selection of the fascinating photographs,\u00a0and the rest of the digital copies can be viewed in our reading room.
