You’ve used King’s library resources for study, but did you know that the library can help with your career too? There are numerous careers resources on the catalogue, here are just few examples of the subjects that you’ll find: interview preparation, communication skills, psychometric tests, understanding the financial world, assessment centres, Business English – all this and more are out there. Some of these titles are paper-only, whilst others are available as e-books.
So how do you find and access them? A good start is to use your departmental careers Library Guide: http://libguides.kcl.ac.uk/ then choose the ‘careers’ tab in your department. You can also find e-books at www.libguides.kcl.ac.uk/careerkit (or search for ‘King’s career kit’). Just click on the title and it’ll take you straight to the book.
