King’s Global Internships Programme officially launched

As part of King’s commit to provide a quality student experience we are delighted to announce the launch of our flagship Global Internships Programme, providing talented King’s students with the exclusive opportunity to complete an international internship this summer in one of three exciting and dynamic destinations.

The programme will support opportunities currently in the following cities:

  1. Shanghai

Home to China’s largest stock exchange, and the new Free Trade Zone, Shanghai is a hub for finance and entrepreneurial business ventures and is one of the most affluent cities in China.

Shanghai is China’s most internationalized city and has become a global financial powerhouse. With cutting edge architecture and a strong expat community, Shanghai has grown into a truly global and progressive city.

  1. Washington DC

Founded on July 16, 1790, Washington DC is unique among American cities because it was established by the Constitution of the United States to serve as the nation’s capital.

From its beginning, it has been embroiled in political manoeuvring, sectional conflicts and issues of race, national identity, compromise and, of course, power. Take advantage of the opportunity to work in one of the world’s most influential cities.

  1. Mumbai

Mumbai is a cosmopolitan metropolis and the largest city in India. Nearly everything in Mumbai is significant on a worldwide level.

As the sixth biggest city in the world, its ports are also some of the worlds largest. It is home to 15 million people living in a contrast of soaring skyscrapers and sprawling slums. Mumbai is a melting pot of ethnicities, languages, and culture – a truly global city!
