This event hosted by the department of Social Science Health and Medicine is open to all postgraduate students.
Dr Silvia Camporesi, Lecturer in Bioethics & Society, will be chairing the seminar with guest-speaker, Reema Patel, policy analyst at Involve UK.
Reema Patel is a policy analyst at Involve, a think tank and charity specialising in public participation and public engagement. She works on the Citizens & Science programme, and is a policy analyst on Sciencewise – a programme funded by BIS (the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills). She delivers the capacity building programme for Sciencewise, as well as working on the development of online tools for public engagement, including the Sciencewise Sounding Board. Reema’s background is in local government public policy – she worked for a local authority, as well as for the think-tank, the New Local Government Network (NLGN)
