BME Student Survey

Don’t forget there’s still a chance to contribute to the Student Race Equality Survey.  The survey, which supports King’s participation in the Race Equality Charter Mark, aims to gather views on studying at King’s, with the objective of generating results that will not only benefit our Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) staff and students but the whole King’s community.

The survey will close on Friday 14 November and can be accessed here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/studentraceequality

Raising Awareness Creating Equality: Student Events

This month, through its participation in the sector wide Race Equality Charter Mark, King’s will be “Raising Awareness Creating Equality” through a series of campus-wide staff and student awareness sessions throughout October.

These will enable the College community to hear about current developments and projects and learn how they can make a direct contribution to actively shape our future programme.

The student events, running throughout October, are entitled ‘Is there racial equality at King’s?’ and are organised by the Organisational Development team.

As King’s College is one of 30 institutions taking part in a new Race Equality Charter Mark being trialled by the Equality Challenge Unit, the event offers a chance to learn more about the Charter Mark and the role you can play. It is also a chance to hear about the initiatives we have underway to promote and support the race equality agenda.
