Research Consultant Internship Position

The Association for the British Pharmaceutical Industry are seeking a Research Consultant to work within their Research, Medical and Innovation Department. Work to be carried out will include:

  • Analysing survey results
  • Considering evidence from other recent surveys in comparison with these findings
  • Identifying the major concerns
  • Reviewing current activity by Research Councils, Science Industry Partnership, other funders of education and training (such as Wellcome Trust) and other stakeholders to identify how well these concerns are currently being addressed
  • Considering additional activity which could be considered, for discussion with stakeholders
  • Organising stakeholder event
  • Drafting a report of the findings and recommendations

NERC, BBSRC, and AHRC 3 Month Policy Internships

These internships provide an opportunity to work for three months in one of a selected group of highly influential policy organisations.

NERC, in collaboration with the Biotechnology & Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC), organise internship placements for current NERC, BBSRC and AHRC funded PhD students to work in one of eight host organisations on a policy topic relevant to both the student and the host. The student will be expected to produce a briefing paper, participate in a policy inquiry and/or organise a policy event. Internship opportunities in Bangalore, India

This is an external opportunity for master’s and Ph.D.-level students.

The Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS) is offering Internships aimed to equip students to learn more about practice and research in their chosen fields, as well as immerse themselves in a unique interdisciplinary and innovative environment.

The IIHS is looking for master’s and Ph.D.-level students who are interested in working on a specialized project within a particular research cluster or as part of an interdisciplinary team at IIHS. They are especially interested in students who are pursuing advanced degrees in varying fields such as law, informatics, media, and sustainability and focus their work on issues of urban planning and development.

These internships are for periods between 2 and 6 months, from May to December 2014.
