Alumni Mentoring Programme – King’s Connect

What is it?King's Connect

King’s Connect is the online community where alumni connect with each other and become mentors to current students.

The programme started 4 years ago and has facilitated over 350 mentoring relationships so far, and we want to reach 500 mentoring relationships by 2016.

1300 alumni are part of the platform and there are 310 active mentors. About 7 alumni are joining every day so the number of active mentors is set to rise to 400 by the end of 2015.

Mentoring requirements

Mentors will be required to commit to 1-3 hours a month per mentoring relationship as well as attending two events annually.

Mentees will be required to commit 4-6 hours a month to the mentoring relationship as well as attending two events annually.

Recruitment process

1- Students are asked to complete a short application form (10 minutes). The deadline to submit applications is Tuesday 19 January at midnight.

2- After completing the application form, students will be prompted to sign-up for an interview slot. The interviews round will take place on Friday 22 January 2016.
