Internships can be a great chance to benefit from work-based learning in a role which relates to your current research or studies as well as develop professional skills that will boost your employability. The Internships Team at King’s have announced two new paid part-time internships, aimed at postgraduate students within the College, both starting this October:
Institute of Psychiatry – Research Project Coordinator Intern – £10.44 p/h
This 12 month internship involves the coordination of a 1 year research project investigating the impact of medical education placements at the Maudsley Hospital and the successful candidate will be gain co-ordination and leadership experience within a leading academic health science centre, experience collecting, analysing and disseminating qualitative and quantitative research data and the opportunity to be part of research project with potential for publication

Public Engagement department – Public Engagement Intern – £10.44 p/h
The Public Engagement department communicates the College’s activities, particularly those involving aspects of research, to a wider audience. The intern will be involved in auditing existing public engagement activity across the College to inform future event planning and funding, compiling reports and producing a directory of key contacts per department.
