Selling a conference on chronic disease

Intelligent researcher/telesales required: Two months (Jan/Feb) full time. £9 per hour plus commission

Laing & Buisson, the leading healthcare publisher and management consultancy, is looking for someone to identify potential delegates and to then sell them places at a Pan-European conference on how to best manage chronic diseases, such as diabetes, etc. We are looking for a self-starter, who is happy to pick up the phone and talk to academics and healthcare experts. You will need to find the right people to invite to the event and to then sell them a place on the phone.

The role calls for someone with strong communication skills, perseverance and intelligence. It is a job in which you will develop valuable skills. Training will be given on the industry, the research process and on how to talk about the event to potential buyers.

Ideally, we would like someone who speaks Spanish and/or French and/or Italian, but the most important skill is the ability to communicate!

Pay £9 an hour plus some commission. Write to Max Hotopf at, saying why you are suitable for the job and attaching a CV.
