Year in review celebrates the cultural community across King’s

King’s Cultural Community: Showcasing success 2017-18  is now live. This annual summary brings together the activities of a broad cultural community that extends across and beyond King’s. A community of staff and students, in all faculties, who work alongside artists and cultural partners to enrich research and education across all faculties, while serving the needs of the cultural sector and, more broadly, of society.

Projects featured extend across all faculties and include:

  • Creative Breaks, developed by the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care to counter the growing trend of working through lunch
  • The Georgian Papers Programme’s interpretation of the musical Hamilton emphasising the Faculty of Arts & Humanities work to translate historical documents into contemporary understanding
  • A showcase of talentwhich describes how King’s students connect new audiences with academic research and study through art
