Enjoy festive singing in the Culture Lounge at King’s
On Friday 14 December from 13.00 – 14.00 King’s Culture Lounge presents King’s Staff Choir, performing festive songs in the lead up to the holiday season.

Seasonal ballet
Don’t miss the English National Ballet’s production of the Christmas classic, The Nutcracker, at the London Coliseum from 13 to 30 December. This timeless story of a sparkling Christmas Eve in a frost-dusted Edwardian London sees a young girl called Clara and her enchanted Nutcracker doll discover a magical new world.

Sing along to festive favourites
Hear carols and Christmas songs in spectacular surroundings at the Royal Albert Hall’s Christmas Carol Concert on 23 and 24 December. Or if you prefer Christmas concerts with a twist their A Hollywood Christmas on 19 December celebrates scores from beloved Christmas films.

Literary theatre
See one of the great Christmas classics brought to life at the Old Vic Theatre in their production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, with performances until 19 January

Festive architecture
Visit the Museum of Architecture’s Gingerbread City at the V&A is an imaginary city of 60 buildings made completely of gingerbread and is on display until 6 January. The Gingerbread City is a playful way to encourage conversation around the future of our built environment.

Visit King’s Science Gallery London this Christmas
The Gallery’s inaugural exhibition HOOKED has now been extended until 27 January and will only be closed on from 24 to 26 December and on 1 January during the festive season. Entry to the exhibition is free. What’s more, students can get a 20 per cent discount in the Café and 10 per cent discount in Shop. From drugs to social media, gaming to gambling, HOOKED explores the themes of addiction and recovery and draws on world-leading research from King’s College London.
