This panel had shared their practice in advance as five-minute recorded talks, prompting questions from participants which they posted and upvoted in a <a href=\"https:\/\/kings.padlet.org\/mira_vogel\/lightning\">Padlet<\/a>. The discussion responded to the most upvoted questions in the time we had, but we made sure we responded to every question on the Padlet (because simple majoritarian approaches don&#8217;t recognise divergent thinking, and recognising divergent thinking helps bring a sense of belonging).<\/p>\n<p>Here are the colleagues who contributed, and links to the lightning talks they recorded and generously shared across King&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dr Yusuf <span id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1590655360221_139\"><b>\u00d6\u00e7<\/b><\/span><\/strong> (King&#8217;s Business School) <a href=\"https:\/\/web.microsoftstream.com\/video\/c2febec6-0c3d-4c60-a561-61b6dbd50116\">gives his solutions to two particular challenges<\/a>: bringing students&#8217; full attention to particular concepts during teaching, and motivating participation in formative assessments.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr Ilia Protopapa<\/strong> (King\u2019s Business School) <a href=\"https:\/\/web.microsoftstream.com\/video\/45fcf5da-b5ed-4d90-a863-c1b618403efa\">conceptualises transferring a module online<\/a> and gives us a birds-eye view of some strategies she has been using to bring orientation, community, enthusiasm and interactions, with an emphasis on inclusion.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr Stefan Schilling<\/strong> (Defence Studies) <a href=\"https:\/\/web.microsoftstream.com\/video\/9ef7e655-e850-46fd-a66d-f9aab66d1c3f\">addresses a tendency for online seminars to drift into lecture mode<\/a>.
