The following collections of guides respond to different constraints with physical teaching spaces.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/activelearning\/category\/all-activities\/flexible-spaces\/\"><strong>Flexible<\/strong> spaces<\/a> &#8211; activities which <strong>need<\/strong> configurable space and movable furniture*.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/activelearning\/category\/all-activities\/fixed-spaces\/\"><strong>Fixed<\/strong> spaces<\/a> &#8211; activities which <strong>can, if necessary,<\/strong> take place in lecture theatres with bench seating, or which can be adapted to accommodate fixed seating.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.kcl.ac.uk\/activelearning\/category\/all-activities\/spaces-with-tables\/\">Spaces with<strong> tables<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; activities which require, or are better with, work surfaces which accommodate groups.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Where an activity needs flexible spaces, we are investigating whether digital technologies might enable them in more restricted spaces.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Where the activity involves physical movement, the kind of room you are allocated is important.
