About the UNC-King’s Alliance

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) and King’s College London initially became partners in 2005 when an agreement was signed between the College of Arts & Sciences at UNC and King’s School of Arts & Humanities and School of Social Science & Public Policy. Since then institution-wide collaboration has developed and the UNC-King’s Strategic Alliance has seen a wide range of initiatives take place which are designed to bring together undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff from the two institutions. The Alliance is now believed to be one of the more ambitious partnerships between a UK and a US institution, bringing growing benefits to both campuses.
