Falling Walls London Lab – Apply Now

The Graduate School is encouraging postgraduate students at King’s to take part in the exciting Falling Walls Lab programme.

The Falling Walls Lab is an innovative and inspiring interdisciplinary format where young academics and professionals can present breakthrough ideas, research projects and initiatives.

Each participant is asked to present his or her work in 3 minutes. Applications from all disciplines are encouraged to enter: from agriculture, medicine, economics, engineering to the humanities. These 3 minute pitches will be judged by a prestigious jury from science and business.

There are 5 Qualifying Labs taking place in different cities around the world in 2013, including London on the 20th September. The winners of the Qualifying labs will get to take part in the final Falling Walls Lab in Berlin on 8 November 2013.

The three winners of the final Falling Walls Lab will then get to present their idea at the main conference on the same stage as some of the world’s most pre-eminent scientists.

The Graduate School has a limited number of bursaries available to King’s postgraduate students who make it through the Qualifying London Lab to the Final Lab in Berlin on the 8th of November 2013.

It only takes 10 minutes to complete an application and there is no cost to take part in the London Lab but remember the deadline to apply is Wednesday 21st of August!
